Introduction to the Yaspa US Product Suite and how to integrate

📘

This guide describes the Yaspa US Product Suite, which is currently in development. All technical specifications and recommendations are subject to change without prior notice.

Introduction

Yaspa's US Product Suite lets merchants facilitate payments over ACH rails to and from customer checking / savings accounts that have been verified using open banking.

Yaspa hosts the account verification and payment Journey, which customers reach by redirect from the merchant page. This framework supports both first-time and returning customers, and no Yaspa account creation is required, so the merchant keeps the relationship with the user.

Yaspa's Intelligent Payments product also uses this payment activity and data retrieved over open banking to derive insights about users. These are displayed in the Admin Dashboard and delivered to merchants via Webhook Notification.

Integration overview

The merchant integration to the Yaspa US Product Suite consists of four mandatory components:

  • APIs to generate the link to the hosted payment page and to conduct payment operations
  • Redirect handler to send the user to the Yaspa hosted payment page, and to receive the user back on the checkout or deposit page when the Yaspa flow ends
  • Webhook listener for server-side payment status updates and derived insights
  • Admin Dashboard to manage and withdraw available transaction funds from a Virtual Account provided by Yaspa for settlement and reconciliation and to view insights dashboards

This integration guide is organized as follows:

  • Product Overview: introductory information and important considerations impacting all integrations to the Yaspa US Product Suite
  • Guaranteed Payments: accept ACH pay-ins backed by Yaspa's payment guarantee
  • Payouts: send money to customer accounts over Same Day ACH or RTP / FedNow
